Miss Angie is Available this Summer/Fall
As Covid-19 situation fluctuates and we get new information about potential variants, the future of indoor classes is not so certain. I want you to know how much I miss you all! I am sure that you are growing so big, I can’t wait to catch up on your stories!
As the summer turns into Fall, I will be offering a few opportunities for families to gather safely together for outside musical gatherings. There is outdoor space in my home as well as the Brooktondale Community Center that will lend well to gatherings. Please let me know if you are interested in some classes. This will help me know what to expect when booking space!
Also, feel free to contact me if you have any small groups of children or people pods that you would like me to entertain once, or on a weekly basis for a series. I can travel or host.
I would also like to let you know that I am currently available and booking for private (or small group) Ukulele and Singing/Song production lessons.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Mixed Ages, 5 months to 5 yrs old with adult
Families enrolled in Miss Angie’s Music are members of a greater community of friends and neighbors seeking the joy of group music making. We jump in with our whole bodies as I lead the class through fun and focused exercises which help develop musical confidence and ability. These include small finger plays, small to large guided movement, dancing, singing, drumming, puppets and imaginative play.
Turn your child’s given musical potential into accurate, heartfelt self-expression with informal exercises in musical play with music that the whole family will enjoy together!
Ukulele Group for 5 to 8 years old with optional adult
Who can play the Ukulele? You can play the Ukulele! This is an introductory class for all big kids who are interested in learning a stringed instrument in a fun and relaxed environment! Learn to sing and play simple songs on the ukulele including the Banana Boat Song, Wheels on the bus, Old McDonald, and many more. You will be amazed what a few easy chords and different strumming patterns can do to your child's interest and ability to play. Cost for the 6-week series is $100 for one child and 50% discount for siblings.
